Privacy policy

This explains what Rotis Indian Restaurant and Bar collects when you order on this website, why we need it, and who else sees it. We keep it short because there isn't much to it.

What we collect

• Your name and mobile number — so we can label your order and call you if there's a problem.
• Your order — the dishes, spice levels, notes and pickup time.
• Your email address — only if you give it to us.
• Marketing choices — whether you ticked the promotional email or text boxes, and when.

We never see your card number. Card details are entered directly into Square's payment fields and go straight to Square. We only learn whether the payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits.

Why we need it

To cook and hand over your order, to contact you about it, to keep our own sales records, and — only if you asked for it — to send you offers.

Who else is involved

• Square — processes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments.
• Twilio — sends text messages about your order.
• Google Maps — the map on our contact section. Google may set cookies when it loads.
• Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.

Your order also goes into our own till system in the restaurant, so the kitchen can cook it and staff can find it when you arrive.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services above.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for our accounts and tax records. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them. If you'd like your details removed, call us — we'll remove what we're not required to keep.

Stopping marketing

Reply STOP to any promotional text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or call (813) 284-6420. Messages about an order you've actually placed aren't marketing and will still reach you.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket and whether you chose day or night mode are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Square and Google Maps may set their own cookies when those parts of the page load.

Children

This website is meant for adults placing orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
